St. Louis Oasis Announces New Location and National Headquarters in St. Ann’s Northwest Plaza

ST. LOUIS — Oasis, a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for older adults, is pleased to announce the grand opening of its Northwest Plaza location. Oasis offers free and modestly priced special interest classes on various topics such as history, arts, current events, humanities, practical tips, tech support, and exercise programs.

“We are thrilled to open this new location in North County, providing greater access to services and classes for more older adults,” said Paul Weiss, national president of Oasis. “Not only will the large space allow for additional programming, but we’ve also located our national staff here. We are proud to be in St. Ann.”

The September 24, 2024, Oasis Grand Opening involves a collaboration of more than 20 community partners, who will be onsite to provide free health screenings, education, and resources. The event will be packed with multiple booths, demonstration exercise classes, activities, giveaways and valuable information designed to help older adults prevent falls and enhance well-being. Falls Prevention Fair: Featuring over 20 community partners, offering a comprehensive range of screenings, educational resources, and tips to mitigate fall risks. Screenings will include blood pressure, strength, agility, flexibility, neuropathy, vision, bone density, A1c, and more.
