The award-winning Oasis Connections technology training program has provided 25,000+ classes since 2000, tailored for older adults with 30+ courses on mobile and PC skills. Launched in 2020, Oasis Everywhere offers virtual classes via Zoom, reaching 153 communities and 11,547 participants, with numbers growing.

Who We Serve

St. Louis Oasis primarily serves older adults, with the average participant being 50 years or older. However, Oasis programs attract a diverse group, including retirees, seniors, and lifelong learners who seek to stay active, engaged, and connected to their community. While the core demographic leans toward older adults, participation varies, reflecting a broad spectrum of interests and backgrounds.

Headshot of Paul Weiss

“Having spent the past 40 plus years as leading experts on the topic of meaningful aging, we’re ahead of the curve in preparing for the future of a longer-living society. The Oasis model of engagement, cognitive stimulation, active lifestyle promotion, and purposeful volunteering can only get better through new research, partnerships, and specialized programs.”
