St. Louis Oasis is excited to announce a meaningful opportunity for individuals passionate about education, community engagement, and making a lasting impact. We are currently recruiting AmeriCorps Summer Associate VISTAs to join our tutoring team for an eight-week summer program focused on advancing youth literacy in the St. Louis community.

This short-term service opportunity is ideal for individuals who want to gain hands-on experience in education, nonprofit work, and community outreach. Summer Associate VISTAs will play a vital role in supporting Oasis’ mission to improve literacy outcomes for students while strengthening connections across the region.

Participants will work closely with our tutoring team to:

• Coordinate volunteer recruitment efforts to expand our network of dedicated tutors
• Build and strengthen relationships with community partners
• Support key programs, including our summer literacy initiatives and Tutor University
