This class discusses the U.S. Constitution and lays out the basic rules for impeaching a President.

However, the rules have only been tested twice in our history. Now, we are confronting impeachment once again. We will review what the founding fathers envisioned for the impeachment process. We will also discuss the Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton impeachments, the Richard Nixon almost-impeachment, and the pending Donald Trump impeachment proceedings in light of this Constitutional and historic framework.
