NATIONAL VOLUNTEER WEEK

St. Louis Oasis staff is excited to volunteer during National Volunteer Week, which takes place from April 21 to April 27.  National Volunteer Week is an opportunity to recognize the impact of volunteer service and the power of volunteers to make a difference and be a force that transforms the world.

Oasis is committed to corporate social responsibility and giving back to the community. The work of Oasis relies on the generosity of donors and volunteers, and as such, we want to honor, and follow in the footsteps of the millions of Americans who serve their country through volunteerism.

Oasis has chosen to volunteer with Almost Home. Almost Home is an organization focused on empowering young moms to become self-sufficient and create a better future for themselves and their children. Their vision is to end the cycle of poverty, two generations at a time. They offer transitional housing, assistance with supplies and childcare, tutoring and academic support, counseling and case management, and a Foundations to Success program.
