This energetic core conditioning class uses the ballet barre to increase strength, balance and flexibility. Participants will need to bring a mat and weights. Class is tailored to all fitness levels.
The mind, senses and body will be progressively challenged to maintain and improve your balance, strength and flexibility.
Building Bones: Mixed Level
Strengthen muscles and increase bone density with a mix of aerobics and strength training. This class is great for a variety of fitness levels and for those with osteoporosis.
Building Bones: Level 2
Strengthen muscles and bones with a mix of aerobics and strength training in this advanced class designed for those able to take on a variety of fitness challenges and to prevent osteoporosis.
Gentle Chair Yoga
Gentle yoga postures designed to relieve pain and improve balance. This class is perfect for beginners and those who would prefer not to sit on the floor.
Strengthen and tone core muscles, increase flexibility and improve posture with this class taught by an adult 50+. Participants should be able to do floor exercises and supply their own mat. *We offer Level 1 for beginners and Level 2 for more advanced participants.
Relax and Renew Yoga
Classic Yoga poses will leave you strong, flexible and relaxed. Breathe deep, unwind and focus on increasing your strength, balance and flexibility while feeling the stress melt away.
Step, Strengthen and Stretch
Low-impact aerobics, strength training, flexibility and balance exercises – a total body workout! Ability to move freestanding without use of a chair is necessary.
