Your donation will help support the work of 2,500 Oasis tutors like El Douglas. Each week, these dedicated volunteers work one-on-one with children who are struggling to read in schools throughout the St. Louis region. Your gift will help children build the confidence and the reading skills needed to succeed in school and in life. You can read more about El’s story here.
On GiveSTL Day May 5, there will be five 20-minute periods throughout the day when $20,000 in matching funds are available. All funds given during these periods will receive a matching or lifted dollar amount on a pro-rated basis. The exact match amount will not be known until the 20 in 20 gifts are calculated. The 20 in 20 hours occur at the following times:
6 am 10 am 12 pm 6 pm 11 pm
